51st National Safety Day/ Safety Month was observed at NTECL Vallur from 4th March to 5th April, 2022.

The Valedictory function of National Safety Month was conducted at NTECL on 05.04.2022 and the event witnessed the presence of Shri. S. Balu, Jt. Director, DISH, GoTN honoring the event as Chief Guest along with CEO, NTECL Shri. KR Pandu, GM(O&M) Shri. P Siva Ramakrishna, other senior officials & employees of NTECL family.

Shri. KR Pandu, CEO, NTECL and Shri. P Siva Ramakrishna, GM(O&M) addressed the gathering on the occasion. Shri. S. Balu, Jt. Director, DISH, GoTN, in his key note address complemented the efforts of NTECL in the safety domain and emphasized the need of unstinted employees' involvement in safety to achieve greater results for the good of the organization.

Employees & stakeholders were motivated with various safety awards during this occasion namely CEO's Safety Excellence Awards, Best Safety and Housekeeping Award, Best Safety Record Award etc. Winners of safety competitions conducted as a part of National Safety Month were also rewarded with prizes.

Safety stewards of NTECL presented a skit demonstrating Best Safety Practices which was appreciated by the top mgt & employees. Pgm ended well with a vote of thanks by safety deptt.
